How

it Works?

Solar panels, typically installed on rooftops or open land, capture sunlight and convert it into electricity through photovoltaic cells. This electricity can be used immediately, stored in batteries, or fed back into the grid. Solar inverters convert the direct current (DC) produced by the panels into alternating current (AC) for use in homes and businesses.

Adopting solar energy is a smart choice for anyone looking to reduce their energy costs, lessen their environmental impact, and gain energy independence. With various system options and financial incentives available, going solar is more accessible and beneficial than ever before.

Grid Tie Solar System is also known as an on-grid or grid-feed system. This system is connected to a public electricity grid and does not require batteries. It generates electricity from the sun, but rather than storing excess energy in the batteries for backup, with net metering it will export it to the public electricity grid. If the home or business needs more power than the solar panels can produce, then the power is imported to the utility grid.

A hybrid Solar System is a solar plus battery storage with a grid connection in one. This system collects power in the same way as the grid tie system. However, it uses special hybrid inverters and batteries to store the excess energy collected for later use. This way during a blackout it will automatically isolate from the grid and continue to supply power to your home and businesses. The system will help you save money in the long run, making it worth investing.

An Off-Grid Solar System is also known as a Stand-Alone Power System (SAPS). This system is not connected to a public electricity grid such as Meralco. Unlike grid-tied solar systems, this system requires batteries that store any solar energy collected from panels allowing homeowners and businesses to utilize electricity whenever it is needed. It is more expensive than a grid tie system due to the high cost of batteries and off-grid inverters.

A Solar Water Irrigation System uses solar panels to power irrigation pumps, providing water to agricultural fields. It operates independently of the grid, making it ideal for remote areas. The system directly converts sunlight into electricity, powering the pump without needing batteries. This reduces fuel costs and environmental impact while ensuring a reliable water supply for crops, improving irrigation efficiency and crop yields.
